An artist must study fish with a great interest and passion. An artist must learn to know the anatomy, life cycle, and habitat of each specimen. Even more, the artists must love to fish and have spent endless hours on a lake, river, stream, or on saltwater to attain this actual experience. I have been extremely fortunate to spend many, many hours fishing, observing, and studying from the north to the south with such passion.
